Post subject: New Literary Board Game Available - Includes Questions Abotu Anne Rice
Archived from groups: alt>books>anne-rice (more info?)

Hi everyone,

Read Any Good Games Lately?

There is a new literary board game available next week which includes
questions about Anne Rice and her books. The game has players
traveling around to book stores buying and selling books. Each player
earns money by answering questions before each turn. Even if you have
never, ever read a book in your life, you can always stick with the
casual reader questions, which have no wrong answer and were developed
to promote conversation. Several play groups that tested the game
prior to manufacturing included married couples which learned things
about they never knew about their mates, just from playing this game.

This first edition is a modern fiction edition, and includes over 800
questions about popular modern authors and their works. This game is
great for avid readers, book collectors, Anne Rice lovers, and even
people who may not read but enjoy good conversation.

Sample questions:

Casual Reader (no wrong answer)
Do you think characters ever surprise the authors who created them?

Avid Reader (multiple choice)
Which best selling author was elected to the state House of
Representatives in 1983 and served until 1990? A) John Grisham, B)
Anne Perry, or C) Gary Paulsen.

Collector (expert level)
"Call me Ishmael" is one of the most famous opening sentences of all
time. Name the book which begins with this line.
