Looking at the pages listed, the emphasis seems to be on fan fiction
far more than any other aspect of fan activities (thus the list of
"Lord of the Rings Fanzines" fails to mention /Amon Hen/, /Mythlore/,
/Vinyar Tengwar/ and other important journals -- though I'm not sure
whether all of these journals would appreciate the company of e.g. 'a
series of Lord of the Rings slash zines'). Personally I don't seek
out fan fiction, though I've read a handful or so of the Potter
fanfics (not counting various humorous stories such as the AFT/RABT
e-text[1] or the interesting balrog news stories).
My impression is that fan fiction is far less common among Tolkien
fans than it is among Potter fans, for instance, though that may of
course change, albeit I must admit that I, personally, would rue it.
Of course it is nice to see that TEUNC is mentioned, but overall I
don't think that I'll be able to contribute anything to a site which
implicitly defines fans as those involved with fan fiction.

Please put [AFT], [RABT] or 'Tolkien' in subject.
