I don't want to make this out like a manhunt, but you're both just
rationalizing and it's such a minor thing I don't see the point. Threads
are like conversations - if someone asks what time it is, only one person
needs to repond.
a - The "Creel isn't a mutant" responses have come in over the course of the
past week - they certainly weren't all posted at the same time. The first
few people could use this excuse, but not the half dozen or so that replied
over the course of the week.
b - You don't need any special software or internet set-up to do this
properly; all you gotta do is read the thread in question and then go back
to respond to the stuff you want to. If you're reading offline you have
even less of an excuse since you can simply delete your redundant post
(before reconnecting) after you see someone else has already replied.
I'm not trying to embarass anyone here and I don't want you to think I
somehow equate this with finding a cure for cancer. This is a very minor
bit of netiquette and you're perfectly entitled to ignore it; I'm sure your
contributions to the group far outweigh this insignificant goof, I just
thought it might be worth pointing out that these things are unnecessary.
I've said my piece, I'll hush up now!
Matt
