Hello all,

Kurt's latest book, which is apparently not the Untitled Project
mentioned here in September, is now available for pre-order from
Amazon, and probably some other places. It's called Man Without a
Country, and that's all the info I got. Except that the Untitled book
is still Untitled.

Try this link to buy it searching books for "Vonnegut country man" -
giving money to a cause I like.

Adios.

I'd guess this is a collection of his 'In These Times' essays, as the
phrase 'man without a country' appears in 'I Love You, Madame
Librarian'. See http://www.inthesetimes.com/site/main/article/i_love_you_madame_librarian/

Very welcome news though!

Fantastic news!!

Here's the Amazon link for the UK

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1583226729/qid=1101153896/sr=.../ref=sr

I tried looking on the Seven Stories Press site but nothing there yet.
It may be worth looking at http://www.sevenstories.com/futurereleases/
every so often to see if it appears there.

Man Without A Country is of course a quote from a recent article by Mr
Vonnegut in In THese Times. Putting two and two together, and given
Seven Stories record of rather short books by Mr Vonnegut, I wonder if
it may be a collection of some sort?

John

Thanks, Neil. Given KVs current proclivity or penchant for issuing the
most dire warnings in re: the current political scene, and the tragic
demise of K. Trout under the same circumstances, I think you have a good
guess.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
