I think the book was largely designed and promoted to new readers. And
in fact his going on shows like The Daily Show etc. did help gain him
a lot of new fans with this book.
I haven't read it yet precisely because I gathered that it has a lot
of stuff I've already read and a lot of ideas he's already presented
before. However I will borrow it from the library or pick up a used
paperback of it some day.
I think by the time you get to be K's age, you don't necessarily have
a whole lot of new ideas. Cut the guy a break, he's given us a lot,
and he's STILL reaching new readers with his new book.
