Panic ye not, I have it safely gathered in. I am at present searching out
and nailing down the origin of the 'wiggies, and discovered that it was
originally John Leith's fault -- who'd've thought it, eh, nice quiet lad
like him?
I posted the semi-biblical wiggery in June 2000, after you had been signing
yourself with a varying number of wiggies for a while just to confuse us
all.
My next bijou taskette will be to establish when and why the gargoyles came
to help us all, unless Diem happens to have that at her fingertips.
The giraffe is already in a file (which is probably the best place for it,
at least then we know where it is and don't trip over its legs).
I think the Welcome Poem probably lives there too, so that there's not so
much need for it to appear here all the time, and I have a feeling there's
a song of the Squoire's that I am going to repost with a couple of more
verses to see if anyone else can add to it.
What else... um... an explanation (of sorts) for the TS; why the pub is
called the Lundy; Hudson....
I *think* there is a plan for links to websites from the appropriate
dwellings or names in the List of Denizens, so Hudson's portrait might
perhaps appear? [hint hint]
It's taking ages, because I keep starting to read old posts and then
following threads to see what Pod came back to *that* with and then Uwe....
Happy days.
If people can think of questions that could be answered with their own
favourite bits of Abthite Lore, I'll do my best to work it up into
something adequately silly to represent us!
