According to the Social Security Death Index, someone with her name and born in
her year (1914) died in Sacramento County in 1998. However, when I entered the
month of August in her birth year, the result was no death at all. Does anyone
know for sure?
She's the author of "White Poppy," "Red Barbarian," "Little Sister," "Last
Moments of a World," and "Blue Mountain."
