My heart was split in two
As the word tried to save me
To save me from itself
My heart would be uneasy
And inside I would scream
Because of the Light
That puts in chains
To wrap those chains so tight
Tighter as I go with it
Until I am in chains
Screaming for the Devil
To liberate it..
To find a cure from being nailed
To the spot of mercy and forgiveness
On the cross where only there
I could die and yet be safe tonight..
