The main topic is *Memoirs of a Midget*, but de la Mare's spook
stories do not go unmentioned, nor do Robert Aickman, David Garnett,
John Collier, . . . :

Dirda is really a friend of the ghost story. He has had good things
to say about Aickman (and my book on Aickman) and other ghost story
writers as well. I look forward to his columns forthcoming in All
