Post subject: Mickey's Square Jawed Hero

What would a SpyFest/Action con be with a representative from the detective
community? That hard boiled, square jawed hero who has a knack with the
ladies will be attending SpyFest this weekend. If you haven't
guessed...Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer...the man himself...Mr. Stacy Keach
will be joining us aboard the Queen Mary. That makes a total of four Mike
Hammer stars!

Let me see...the Bond stars, the writers, the directors, the CIA museum
pieces, the cars, the guns, the babes, the heroes, the costumes, the props,
, the toys, the books, the spy kids....what reason do you have for not
attending?

Don't forget that when Spillane resurrected Mike Hammer in the '60's, he had
him working for a government spy agency for awhile. And, of course, there
was Tiger Mann, Spillane's full-time ultra-right-wing spy who got nearly as
many broads (his term, not mine) as Mike Hammer did. Wish I could be there.
