A few nights ago, I noticed something interesting about the witch's army:
Except for her polar bear drawn chariot, her army had no cavalry! There were
no one on horseback in the witch's army. On the other hand, Peter's army was
replete with people on horseback and also with centaurs (do centaurs count as
cavalry or infantry?).

Not in a movie. Dramatic effect is the point. We KNOW the White Witch
will be defeated -- at the dramatically appropriate moment. Therefore,
dramatic effect is the criterion.

Kudos to Peter for directing griffins to drop stones on the witch's
army! However, IMHO, he should have ordered them to start dropping the
stones the moment he spied the witch's army (so that there would be time
for a second stone dropping run!), instead of waiting for a few minutes
so that his army could yell at her army. Also, he should have had
several griffins concentrate on dropping stones directly ON the witch,
and had the griffins drop rocks on the Witch's reserves (behind the troops
attacking Peter's troops).

Why didn't Peter have Talking Moles dig pits in between the witch's army
and his army?

As for the witch's army, why didn't that Minotaur general order the giants
to throw stones back at Peter's army?

I note that Peter's army looked better organized than the Witch's army, with
higher quality weapons. Also, Peter had lots of calvery. Except for the
chariot pulled by polar bears, the Witch had none.

But why didn't Peter have several griffins drop rocks specifically in the area
where the White Witch was?

Why signal his troops to yell at her troops before sending in the griffins?

Peter didn't appear to have had enough time to arrange any oil-fire traps or
fire bombs, and I doubt he would have had the necessary knowledge.
