Today at a book sale in Redding, Connecticut, sponsored by the Mark Twain
Library, I picked up, for the modest sum of $0.50, the 1918 New American Edition
of Siegfried Sassoon's "The Old Huntsman and Other Poems". Gray paper boards
quarter bound in gray cloth with red faded title on paper label on spine, its
only real defect is some light water staining. No dust jacket, unfortunately.
I seem to be doing a good job of late collecting the war poets.
If any of you are in the area, it goes on through Monday. They started with
50,000 books.
