Finally saw it...

Probably the most "what's on the page is in the film" adaptation there's
been.

(But, as King has said himself, if I may paraphrase... sometimes it's best
to leave the unseen horror behind the door. The nasties just weren't *nasty*
enough! But still horrific! Especially for those who might suffer from
arachnaphobia!)

And that ending!

VERY surprised at that! (Brave!)

Was "The Mist" ever put to film? - A friend of mine swears she saw The Mist a couple of years ago on film. Or an exact duplicate plot. Maybe a made for TV or anthology series show? (And she's not thinking of "The Fog", she knows the difference)

The Mist (Film) - Went and saw this last night with my wife and son. This one should go into the plus column for SK adaptations. The ending is nothing like the original story, though. Man!

The "Buick 8" world and "The Mist"...? - I finally got to "From a Buick 8", and, while reading it, was constantly wondering if SK intended the "other world" to be reminiscent of the one from which the creatures in "The Mist" came... I realize they are not the same ...
