I took a class in Stephen King in college and we actually listened to the
Mist in "3-D Audio" on CD and it was great. The fidelity did awesome wonders
with the sound effects and the excellent storytelling, it could be that guy
just listened to the CD and visualized it and now remembers it visually. I
hear that sort of thing happens all the time. I remember a very popular Star
Wars children's book came out just after the first movie and to this day,
there are people who believe that they saw the events in the book on T.V. or
something, but it is not so.
