Has anybody ever seen the USA show 'Monk'?

I've been watching it and would like to discuss it with other people.
Unfortunatly, the only venue for doing this is on the message-board on
the USA site for 'Monk'. This is unforunate as this group seems to be
on the perpetual verge of a flame war. To be brutally honest <emphasis
on 'brutal'>, these people are less mature than some of the people in
my high school.

I can discuss the first season... but unless one of the broadcast
networks picks it up the way NBC did last year, I can't
discuss this year's season. Sad

Ouch. That is brutal.

Any particular thing you wish to discuss? My wife and I watch the show
regularly.

Do you think he will ever solve his wife's murder? If he does, will he
become normal, or more like his pre-murder, self? Will he ever get to be
a cop again?

I thought THAT had been settled in the episode containing the character "Dale
the Whale".
[I came in on the show in the middle of the first batch of episodes, so do not
know where in the sequence this one originally aired; it was a rerun when I
caught it.]

IMHO, the odds of him solving Trudy's murder are leaning towards not.
In this day and age and with all of the technology at our disposal,
the police should have been able to find a lead that might yield an
arrest. But that's my untutored opinion...
