Great Christians including C. S. Lewis experience the 'dry' periods.
Thoughts, anyone?
Blessings,

It is odd Annie, when you would most like to be near to God, it seems
you cannot reach him. Luckily, having read "A Grief Observed" I have
not been so surprised about what happens. It seems difficult to keep
your ear tuned to His frequency, too much happening, and His people
are almost as problematic as I am Smile . But when I realize I am, in
fact, drowning; it sort of jerks me out of any dry period, and
grasping for the hand, the only hand, that can pull me out of the
water.

Thanks, Daryl. Wait on the Lord has been His constant message for me.
Wait. That's hard, as you say, with all the 'noise' going on around a
person. A Grief Observed is a blessing in these times. Free will to ask
questions- but answers come in the Lord's good Time.
Blessings,
Ann
