To be perfectly blunt, Is there any chance that you could make this available as a
download off of your website. I have read everything you have ever published except this,
and as you have no plans to add it to an anthologythat I am aware of, I greedily wanted
it posted for free.

And people in hell want ice water. <g>

Seriously, it will be anthologized when I pull together my shorter
fiction. Exactly when that will happen isn't clear, but not that far
down the road. I will include The Messenger, The Wood Boy, Geroldo's
Incredible Trick, One to Go, and at least three original, never
previously published stories. The working title is Tales of the Riftwar
and Other Stories.

Best, R.E.F.

I finally found a copy of "Legends 2" that has The Messenger in it (on sale
in NZ Whitcoulls bookstores, Misfit). Short but very sweet and I'll be
queuing to get your anthology when it gets done.

Thanks for the heads up Krayy. Alas, there isn't a Whitcoulls in Pukekohe
and, with the price of gas, the nearest store would add $25 to the price of
the book. Next time I'm out and about though, I'll have a look.

Cheers,

I reckon you're stuffed then, as I found it in WestCity Mall, Henderson Wink

That being said, my outlaws are in Puke/Waiuku so I'm out that way quite
often.

Email your contact number to wpowell RemoveThis @nz1.ibm.com and I'll drop it round one
day.

Pronunciation of Feist - I'm curious as to how REF pernounces his last name. I've been reading his books for years, always using the "rhymes with Christ" pronunciation. Am I wrong? Is he pulling a Buzzy Feiten, and going with "Feast"? -Thesam
