I heard from Jerry Comino that John Allen Cassady is writing a book
about his father.

There are excerpts of it available on Jerry's site.

I can't see "shop" in the top right-hand corner, or anywhere else.

In fact, it appears to be the website of a record store in Glasgow,
Scotland.

Neither do I.

It's all a Great Mystery.

Thinking of which, back in the '50s, wasn't there a fashion in England
at least for calling women 'mysteries'. As a term, like 'birds'.
Although at the time to me it seemed accurate enough but incongruous.
Still, my artist friends appeared to use it. But I was an engineer...

Oh, I get it. It's not like excerpts on Amazon, which are selections
from the book. The $7 is for excerpts.

But ... excerpts from what?
