I posed this to the mailing list, but for those of you who don't
subscribe, I'll repeat it here:
I just agreed to a six-book deal with HapperCollins/Voyager in the UK
and Avon/EOS in the US.
I'll be finishing up the entire Riftwar Cycle with a two book series
called The DemonWar Saga, which will be about the 4th Riftwar, then end
it all with the ChaosWar Saga, the last of the riftwars. The last book
will be a new one, most likely the first in a new series set in a
completely new world unrelated to anything I've done before.

Yes! Excellent news!
Is this being trumpeted at the London Book Fair? If not it bloody well
should be! (I'm still waiting to hear from my agent about what's been going
on at the LBF)
Now if we can just see an REF movie or TV series...

I have no idea what HC London is doing about the Book Fair. At this
point I'm content to let them take charge of everything beyond the
writing.

Mr. Feist,
Okay, I'm out in left field today. Does your current contract entail
the finish of the current Riftwar series or does the two books of the
DemonWar Saga entail the ending of the DarkWar Saga? (I guess I'm hoping
for as many books in the series as possible!)
As an aside, I just started reading Faerie Tale and was pleasantly
surprised to find that Jack and I are from the same home town. Sadly,
you sent him to the wrong college! NC State would have been a much
better choice. (Ok, so that's where I graduated, I'm a bit biased!)

Wrath of a Mad God ends the Darkwar Saga. The DemonWar is the 4th
Riftwar, and the ChaosWar is the last riftwar.
Hey, I could have sent him to Duke.

Well , that's what they're there for...
Me, I'm just delighted to know I've got years' worth of your fabulous books
to look forward to anyway!
(And I'm not easily impressed)

Thanks for the news, it's always good to know what to expect.
So that's Wrath to come, then your six-book deal right?
Two books in the DemonWar
Three books in the ChaosWar?
Then the new book. (Which, much as I'm loving the Midkemia books, I'm really
looking forward too. After seeing you unleashed from the constraints of
Midkemia in Faerie Tale I'd love to see what you come up with when you have
a blank slate).
Congrats on the deal.
Cheers,
