I hardly ever come in alt.fan.eddings anymore, so there's no use in keeping
my eddings nick.

So I changed it Smile

Bar? That's a _damned_ good idea. Just for a change, the trouser stiffener
will be on me instead of you. Cool>

OK, that's a TS with liferaft and straw for Beetle, I'll have a large
bear restorer with ice, a barrel of JP-4 for the firedrake, one sausage
each for Hudson & Delta (but make it a _big_ sausage - the toasted ones,
not the cocktail sort), one of whatever the BB is drinking, and a large
laphroaig for the man from the MMB. Anyone else hiding under the table?

just checking for rot (of which there isn't any), but since you're here
some calvados would be lovely...

Depends on how deep and splashily I dive, I think.

The Miller has retired to bed with a sore throat and a hot toddy made using
lemon, honey and Glen Morangie. This felt ever-so-slightly like some sort
of sacrilege but it was the only scotch I had in the house... He seemed
happy with it, in any event.

Thanks for looking after him. The Glen Morangie may be sacrilege but
it's in a good cause.
