The two winners - one for writing and one for illustration - will be
announced at the end of March. The awards ceremony will be in
September. Thirty-five countries are represented.

Nominees include the UK's David Almond and Jan Pienkowski, and the
USA's Lloyd Alexander and David Wiesner.
