This is a unique attempt to write a novel - about a couple of 1970's
songwriters trying to make it - using the internet as a research lab.
By allowing people to read and comment on the novel we are gathering
stories, photos, and comments as it develops. We are also including
whatever old recordings of songs or demos we can find from this period.
The site is a wiki and you can contribute to it if you are invited to
or you can just email us stuff. We would apprectiate anything you might
be able to ad to enrich the book. Ultimately, we would like to get a
publisher for the book and include a CD with all the songs mentioned in
the book.
David Jenneson, the writer of the novel and Alan Hovden (myself) have
been writing songs together since we were teenagers and have had some
success as writers. We've written songs for some of Bruce Fairburn's
projects (producer of Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Yes and others), Terry Jacks
(of Season's In the Sun fame) and others but have never hit the "big
one".

Hope you enjoy this and would like to contribute in some way (this is
an experiment in mining info from the web so maybe you can surprise us)!
