Dinsmore, Todd Cirillo, Becca Costello, frank andrick, Linda Thorell,
Gene Avery. Friday October 24th. 8:00 pm. @ Luna's Cafe 1414 16th. St.
Sacramento. Music - The DownTrodden Saints, Chris Hill, Michael
Farrell, Eric Crownover & Friends.

WHO: Poets from Sacramento, San Francisco, and other parts of northern
California will converge on Luna's Cafe in Sacramento for the 24th.
annual edition/presentation of Sacramento's longest running and most
famed tribute reading October In The Railroad Earth produced by the
Sacramento poet B.L. Kennedy. The October In The Railroad Earth Event
will present works from noted beat authors such as Jack Kerouac, Alan
Ginsburg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Philip Lamantia, Diane di Prima,
Gregory Corso, Bob Kaufman, William Burroughs, Michael McClure, Victor
Wong, Kenneth Rexroth and others. These works are read/performed by
B.L. Kennedy (Host), Pat Grizzell, D.R. Wagner, Anne Menebroker,
A.D.Winans, Danka Dinsmore, Todd Cirillo, Becca Costello, frank
andrick, Linda Thorell, Gene Avery. Friday October 24th. 8:00 pm. @
Luna's Cafe 1414 16th. St. Sacramento. The poets will be backed by
music from the beat ensemble - The DownTrodden Saints, Chris Hill,
Michael Farrell, Eric Crownover & Friends.

WHAT: October In The Railroad Earth is a tribute reading to the works
of Jack Kerouac and the poets of the so-called Beat Generation. For 24
years Sacramento Poet/provocateur B.L. Kennedy has presented October
In The Railroad Earth ( named after the Kerouac wordpiece) throughout
various venues in Sacramento handpicking poets to represent the works
of various Beat era poets. Join us in this celebration of all things
Beat that broke the literary chains of convention w/beattitude &
attitude. This is the 24th. annual October In The Railroad Earth.

WHEN: Friday October 24th. 8:00 pm ( doors open at 7:30 PM. )

WHERE: Luna's Cafe 1414 16th. ( between N & O Sts. ) in midtown
Sacramento

COST: There will be a $5:00 dollar cover charge at the door for this
event.
