Onion, cheese & hot mustard

I was just wondering, was this combination thought of after a night filled with alcohol ?
it sounds like one of those combinations which suddenly look like a good idea around
1AM when you've had a very busy night.

That aside, it's a very nice combination, have tried it with several types of cheese by now
