So just when did Opal fruits (made to make your mouth water) become
Starburst?

Opal fruits is a much more opulent name, don't you think? Starburst makes me
think they are made out of star fish that exploded.

They could never change the name of Jaffa Cakes, what could they call
them? They are exactly whats on the packet, they have Jaffa and they
are cakes. Please don't even let them think of changing the name,
it'll be the snickers debacel (<---I can't spell that word) all over
again

They could be called Orangeburst, or Jickers.
Or maybe something like Marathon, I hear that name's going spare...

How about Jif Cakes?

(I have to wonder - When did the Spanish start to become interested in
face cream???)

Surely it's cream cleaner! (i.e. for your sink/cooker) I wouldn't recommend
putting any on your face be it Jif or Cif.
The whole Jif/Cif Opal fruit/Starburst thing stems from two countries
selling the same product under a different name and for one reason or
another the company wants to consolidate the names.

I don't much care for Jif, but they should have made the Americans switch to
Opal Fruits!

I was actually trying to take the pee out of two products at the same
time - But failed!

With regards to "The whole Jif/Cif Opal fruit/Starburst thing stems
from two countries selling the same product under a different name and
for one reason or another "... I'd like to know what the reasons
were... It's not as if, over here for example, Starburst was already
being used, nor Cif or Olay - Why don't they just use the same blasted
name worldwide???

("Starfox" being the exception where there was already a game called
Starwing... That said, it's not as if there are films or games these
days with exactly the same name - Film remakes not including!)
