I have and intent to continue hanging onto him. My devotion is shown by the
fact that although he is in Washington, DC; he's the man I call and will
spend 2 hours commuting to get to see. It probably wouldn't be a two hour
commute if I weren't so temperamental about interstate highways, but he's
well worth the trip.

Ah, but would it have done, if it only could find its' partner in crime, the
right-foot galosh. Who has separated this devoted couple who have been
through so much together?

Limping. I know it may be hard to tell with us six-footers, but that was
limping.
Whilst looking thoughtfully at the large patch of discoloured and
maltextured skin from a small scald on one of my wrists.
(Given the combination of the two actions, it's amazing I wasn't lying in
the bottom of the glass with my legs waving feebly in the air, really....)

Is it new? By which I mean, am I likely to find it in the library? I got
thoroughly lost in Crystal City on a very rainy night. I have since made
it a policy to only go into DC where I can take Metro (and technically,
for those who are not from here, CC is not really part of DC, but it
used to be before they gave it back, and still looks it). Anyway, I love
to read stuff set in this area. Which is why I like the Margaret Truman
books. And I've caught her made up places a couple of times, that is fun
(specifically, she took a real airport (of the tiny variety) and put it
several miles away from the actual location, not to mention letting it
stay open long after it was closed because of the people in the new
houses near it). Driving around following their directions, and seeing
if they made it up or put in something real.

2002 copyright so there's a chance it might be available. If not in
Charles, they could probably do an ILL for you. Remind me to tell you about
our adventures on the Memorial Bridge and why the Rileys do NOT go to
Roslyn. I handle DC in the same way and I get to do it next week. Got a
doctor's appointment at Washington Circle, luckily it's very Metro-able.
