Looked at all the usual suspects and need some more information,
please.
Author, _Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall_
Title, _The Meaning of the Glorious Koran_
George Allen and Unwin, Ltd.
Hardcover
I am looking for publishing history.

Allen and Unwin are now an Aussie publishing house, and I did not have
any luck looking at the returned searches through Google.

That translation has been continuously in print for 70 years - what's
special about this edition?

All leather binding, plain spine, gold printing. Found in a bunch of
books from the 30-40's. Could be re-bound, i can't tell, since I can't
seem to find any info. FWIW, not expecting this to be valuable.
