Okay, I'm getting mixed answers, so I'm turning to the people to whom
I should of have asked in the first damn place: you guys.
1. _Game of Thrones_ - is the US the first, or the UK?
2. Neal Stephenson. What are the points for _Cryptonomicon_ and _The
Diamond Age_? Anything special, or do the number lines speak for
themselves?
3. _The Drabble Project_. What the hell is so special about THIS one?
Or am I missing the obvious?
I await enlightenment.

English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow
words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways
to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary."

Ask Mike on this one. I thought the U.S. preceded, but Locus says
otherwise.

Pretty much, yeah. Though do be aware that there is a 250-edition
signed/limited of Cryptonomicon, simultanious wth the trade.

Prachett, Wolfe, Asimov, Niven, Brunner, Stableford, Langford, etc. And
only 1000 copies printed.
Here's the list:

Hi Bud,
As to GOT even George RR isn't sure, I've asked him. I
know that the UK edition is presumably the first, at least certainly more
difficult to find. I've sold over 65 US firsts (signed) but only have one
UK, the uncorrected proof. Art

Art says Martin says otherwise, but I also asked him, and he said the US was
first. However, authors are certainly not the last word on this topic!
(Also, Locus is occasionally in error.) And as Art says, the UK is scarcer
(as usual.) I have both, so I'm not particularly biased.

It pretty much was the trade edition with a limitation page tipped in.

I have book 2, and it's very entertaining.
