Acording to the BL catalogue it was originally published
in 1940 in the Coronet Library, and reprinted in 1951, and
1956

If your copy has no reference to the Coronet Library, then its
probably safe to assume it's either the 1951 or 1956 edition.

If it has got a reference to the CL, then it might be any
of the 3, although the likeliest is 1940.
