Does Kurt Anymore? - Does anyone know if Mr. Vonnegut ever replies to postal letters anymore? I know he is getting up there in age and a couple years ago he asked that people no longer send things for but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck of

A brewery in Denver is brewing Kurt's Mile High Malt on Nov. 11 to honor
KV's birthday. The brewer says he was a friend of Vonnegut's and the recipe
is based on one formulated by Vonnegut's grandfather.

Nice to see someone besides me still checks this group!

Wish I knew someone in Denver who could buy me some! I wonder if the
label will have one of Kurt's drawings or ?

Didn't the guy who did Kurt's silk-screens also release some wine or
something with a Kurt label some years ago?

I used to live in Denver. But all my contacts are long gone...

He talks about this in Timequake and even reproduces the label, which does
contain one of his self portraits. It was first brewed in Denver in 1996 by
Wynkoop Brewery in celebration of the opening of KV's art show in a gallery
there.
