new beat(ish) - if he hasnt been mentioned in here before, let me recommend Tim Sandlin. Not really 'beat', but his GroVont trilogy (Skipped Parts, Sorrow Floats, Social Blunders) are great. Sex and Sunsets is also a good read. ~jb |
