Post subject: The RCB Cafe is open for business.
Archived from groups: rec>collecting>books (more info?)

Regular readers here may remember that back on April 16, Jerry Morris posted
some "Thoughts on an RCB Website",
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/rec.collecting.books/browse_frm/th...d/3b9af

There were enough people who thought that an RCB website was a good idea
that we've gone and started one. This web-based board requires that members
join in order to post, and it's moderated to the extent that someone will
intervene if postings become personally abusive, but all such policies are
open to discussion by all the members, on the "Administrative Stuff"
companion board.

Please feel free to come over, read the posts so far, and join in. We'd love
to have you!

Wow, thanks! If that site runs without the snarkiness that's afflicted
this one, it will be just the kind of thing I was looking for...
