Post subject: Rachel grew hair?

I guess being a telekenetic, she could probably do something about her hair,
but it's just weird seeing rachel that way. I guess with storm, one could
pose the same argument, but I always liked the longer hair on storm so I
don't really want to complain there. It's just that Rachel looks more
generic now, costume aside.

Why? If you want to go down that road though, it's more likely a telepathic
illusion she's casting, just like she used to hide her facial scars (and
presumably still does), until her real hair grows out.
