I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and say that I believe that
deathdream is John Pelan.

Granted I have no evidence, but his avoidance of the fray, his
reluctance to post in support of deathdream, deathdream's echoing of
many Pelan arguments, and the sheer nastiness of deathdream's
utterances, all give me a gut instinct feeling that it's Pelan with
his hand in the puppet deathdream. After a couple of years battle, one
tends to know one's enemy. The posting style is becoming more and more
Pelanesque.

And then there's the fact that deathdream has referenced Beekslayers
and allegedly disparaging posts in Horrabin Hall. Pelan was a member
of Beekslayers last time I looked, and he does own H Hall. I also know
for a fact that he has invented sock-puppet identities elsewhere: not
only does he invent sock-puppets on his own message-board, but he
tried to sneak into the Robert Aickman discussion forum under one.

My money is on John Pelan. And I don't care who knows it. Yes, I'm
pretty certain that he's behind this unpleasant new personna.

Do tell.

Of this and many other things... By the way, did you find the
monitoring software I had installed on your comuter? Be careful 'round
the house... I've put the salt in the sugar bowl, stretched saran wrap
over the toilet seat, and squirted toothpaste into your slippers...

You silly twit, when I want to insult you I have no reservations about
doing so directly and to your face. I post here and elsewhere as
myself and see no reason to disguise my identity.

More of your delusional lies.

I'll make you a deal Hoppy; prove that I'm deathdream and I'll leave
this newsgroup permanently, fail to do so and you leave. Fair enough?

Now put up or shut you little wanker. You have two weeks, that should
be more than adequate for a man of your deductive powers.

Get busy Hoppy, the clock is ticking. You can get rid of me once and
for all, or fail to accept the challenge and prove to all what a
cowardly little tosser you are.

TTFN

Pelan / "Ben" / "deathdream" / "Rufus T. Firefly" / "Lena J. Pohn" /
Whatever your name is this week:

You can't believe how amusing it was to see you reference "High Noon"!
It's quite made my day. (Wipes eyes.) Thanks for that.
