Hey anyone I need help, I'm very bored with the books I have and am
looking for some suggestions on new stuff to read. Not really into
fantasy or science fiction but open to anything else. Any ideas?

All depends on what you like reading? I've read all of Chuck Palahniuk's
novels and would recommend any of them.

If you want to be entertained, read E.L. Doctorow's novel Ragtime.
If you want to be devastated, read Shipwrecks by a Japanese author
whose name I cannot recall, or E.L.Doctorow's first novel Welcome to
Hard Times.
If you want to empathize with the characters, read Lonesome Dove or
Easter Day, 1941.
If you want to be enthralled by the beauty of the writing, read the
English Patient or Remains of the Day.
If you want to be challenged read the Wind-Up Bird Chronicles.
If you want to be appalled read The Tent of Orange Mist or Mysteries
of Algiers.
If you want to wonder what is going on in the world today read A Peace
to End All Peace.

there is no end

If you like suspense, Frederick Forsythe (any book), or Jack Higgins (any
book). For a more historical perspective, anything by James Michiner. I also
love Tom Clancy, John Dunn, Stephen King, and Ursula LeGuinne. Paul<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
