Post subject: Reading suggestions
Archived from groups: alt>books (more info?)

I was and am a student of history. I have found that of all the books I
have ever read 99.9% have been nonfiction. I got to wondering what I was
missing and would like to begin reading some classics. I decided to come to
a ng. site to see what people recommend. Any suggestions as to what would be
a good place to begin?

over 12,000 classic e-texts and counting... find one you like and then buy a
hardcopy version of it.
