My general rule of thumb, based on fifty-mumble years of
book-buying [particularly PBs in the first 10-15 of that
fifty-mumble] is that paperbacks generally follow first hardback
release by 12-18 months.
Keep an eye on the publisher's web-site, as well as
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.amazon.com," target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com,</a> <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.barnesnoble.com," target="_blank">http://www.barnesnoble.com,</a> etc.
Often Amazon and BN have PBs listed in advance of release, often
as much as three or so months.
Just checked all three with "no joy" as the result.

Thanks. I did try Amazon. Do you know who the likely publisher would be?

From going to the publishers - Amazon listed one, B&N another,
turns out the Amazon one was part of the B&N one's "Group" -
where I found only hardback/trade softcovers listed, I would
assume they will farm it out to another publisher for the
paperback issue - if they have the paperback rights at all. IOW,
your guess is as good as mine.

I bought a copy at Borders a few months ago and at that time they said
they did not expect it to come out in paperback.
