Rogue's power's (Ms. Marvel's and her uncontrollable absorption power) are
or will return before her own ongoing series, which starts in July.

Can we get rid of her "elaborate tattoo" on her arm too? It must be a
nightmare for artists and editors to try and to keep consistent or
draw around.
It was good for the Anna Raven of Valle Soleada period but I have a
hard time seeing how it will go beyond that portion of her history.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Agreed. I don't really mind her getting a tatt, but they made it too complex.

Shame, I still thin you'd get a more interesting character if she didn't
have all those handy "built in" superpowers, and had her dependent on the
power she hates. Much like the movie and "X-Men: Evolution" Rogue's<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Actually she doesn't like the other power much either (especially
invulnerability with removes her sense of touch). The only power she really
gets any enjoyment out of is flying.
At the end of the day, it's all dependant on what they are going to do with
her. I've always preferred classic Rogue, so I'm happy with where they're
going at the moment.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I've never liked the tattoo. Hopefully they'll write it out, considering
that it's only supposed to be a temp tat anyway I don't see why or how she
could keep it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Indeed... what I have to say is... "Disgusting!"

(but the term "bad girl" gives me about as many horible 90s flashbacks as
variant covers and foil trading card inserts)

Well, obviously, people have forgotten how dreadful variant covers were, else
we wouldn't be having a revival. More people need to bring this up more often.

Well I was hoping that forgetting them would erase the damage they did.
Guess it's true, those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it... or in
this case, those who forget the horror of variants, are doomed to get
fleeced again.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

"Truer words..."

There's really nothing wrong with the variants themselves, however, people
need to be warned (it needs to be shouted from the roof-tops around the
world) that there's no reason to buy them unless they particular like being
fleeced. This just becomes a really bad thing when variants are produced
as a sole means of revenue, without giving thought to the quality of the
stories within the books. If Marvel can make some extra bucks off of
idiots while selling a good story, then they really won't get any complaints
from me.

It was put on there by another mutant, IIRC in the X-Treme X-Men X-Pose
series, who could then take it off without leaving any sign it was ever
there.
