I know. As I remember, (it's been awhile) her tattoo's are temporary and
fade away after a time (the one she put on that journalist only lasted the
night IIRC), so how could she keep it without getting it touched up by Paint
every once in a while?
More reason to lose it than keep it... besides the fact that almost everyone
I've talk to seems to think it looks ugly. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

Sure... and as long as it doesn't start another industry spiral as well.
Just annoys me when I see them on the shelf and remember those days of
Marvel "bankruptcy" and how close we came to comic market "crash". Though I
was only a teen at the time, so I didn't care back then... hindsight may be
20/20, but it's painful too if you see the same mistakes happening again. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

Well, with X-Force coming out with what seems to be an ongoing title,
all those memories are bound to come flooding back! On the bright side,
Liefeld seems to have improved. If you compare the cover of the
original X-Force #1 to the new one, the difference is tremendous. His
biggest problem still seems to be women's breasts, particularly
Domino's. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

I always found that Liefeld's biggest problem was that companies still keep

The root of the problem is that people keep buying his books...

Hear, hear! My New Mutants collection is incomplete because
of Mr. L. (whose biggest problem at the time seemed to be feet,
which he kept hiding in clouds of mist etc., IIRC).

I can tolerate a lot of things in comics... retconning, passing a blind eye
toward variants, screwball plot lines... hell, I can even handle Austen's
writing! So I consider myself pretty open minded in the world of creative
cockups.
But Liefeld... ooooh, Liefeld just grates with me. I just don't "get it"...
what's to like about his work?! Can't draw hands, feet, knees or elbows. All
his faces are either permanent grimaces or yelling. Women look like they've
got a football cut in half under their tops instead or real breast. THUNDER
THIGHS & PINHEAD MANIA, why do they all have huge bodies and tiny heads!!!
I'll buy X-Men until the cows come home, but if Liefeld ever comes anywhere
near them, I'm putting my money away. I refuse to give them a reason to hire
him.
And as for a new X-Force series... well if it is ongoing (unlike the limited
I've heard it is), I won't be touching it until Liefeld leaves. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

I like it. But in real life it would look really ugly. And it must be an

I have to wonder how much of that seeming improvement, and I noticed it as
well, could come down to more modern colouring styles.

Nah, things like the hair are obviously more natural and they don't seem quite
as freakishly over-muscled (though they remain somewhat freakishly
over-muscled).
They're shown side by side on the Newsarama thread -
http://newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=2da0e7c51cf1c51d5a49b463b...30b1&th
His art still sucks, but not half as much as it used to.

Well, yeah, but I happen to love X-Force enough that I can convince
myself that Liefeld won't last and the book will continue on. It
happened before and can happen again. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

Wait, you read through the entire crappy Asgard story - that went on for
something like 8 issues - and then dropped NM after it was finally over?
Sorry, can't see the logic. Though I've managed to see that Simonson's
NM wasn't quite as bad as I always thought, Liefeld still made it
better. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

That can't be all there is to it. The heads were more proportional and
the crotches aren't so wide apart. Heck, even the shoulders aren't as
big. It's true that the costumes don't excite me much, but I am very
excited to see Shatterstar back in action. >> Stay informed about: Rogue's powers |

I liked that Asgard story much, much more than the post-Cable issues.
