Post subject: Sad news. Hopefully the last for a while

I was told this morning by friends that another friend passed away early
this morning. Since he had been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer a
couple weeks ago, it is kind of a relief, as he didn't really have a
great deal of pain, and the end was quick.

So here's to John, who loved shrimp and curry, and shrimp curry, and did
a wonderful job playing the organ.
