Mr. Feist,

Did you get a chance to attend SDCC? Looked far and wide for the
Dabble Brothers booth but never found it. Just curious what you
thought of SDCC and if you picked anything up? Were you able to hit
all the rows?

Let's see. Dabble's didn't have a booth this year as they were tucked
away in meetings for most of the week; other vendors had their books on
display.

I was there Thursday night for a meeting, then half-day Saturday and
all day Sunday with my kids. Pretty much got dragged to every Star
Wars display in the joint by my son who walked out with his pride and
joy, one of those high tech light sabers.

It's huge. I remember back when it was in the basement of the El
Cortez Hotel, what. . . 28 years ago?

Anyway, my feet still hurt . . .

Best, R.E.F.

I went to the Image booth, and they weren't carrying anything. I guess I
could've checked with an actual comics retailer that was there (rather
than the publishing companies), but I just made an order from MHC when I
got home.

It's kind of amazing, really. It's called Comic-Con, but comics really
do take a back seat to everything else.

I came home with 4 t-shirts, 3 paperback books, and only 2 comic books. Smile

The only day my wife and I didn't go to the Con at all was Sunday. We
were back at Sea World for some stuff.

But, man, those lightsabres... we about bought a pair of them even
though we know we don't have the money to throw at them. They're *that*
nice. And that durable, too. Smile
