Faulkner, William. SARTORIS. New York, Grosset & Dunlap, (1933).
Second edition. First G&D edition. Yellow cloth, stamped in purple on
cover and spine, top edge stained purple. Petersen A5.2. The dust
jacket, by Arthur Hawkins, is yellow with black (possibly purple)
horizontal lines, and it mentions SANCTUARY and LIGHT IN AUGUST on the
front panel and the front flap. The book is darkening on the spine and
rear cover where chunks of the jacket are missing. It has a spine lean,
and a poorly erased ink name on the front free endpaper. Good plus in a
poor dust jacket that is well-worn, chipped, and with half the rear
panel gone. $50.00 U.S.

Faulkner, William. SARTORIS. New York, Signet/NAL, (1953). First
paperback edition. A Signet Giant S1032 (35 cents on cover.)
Introduction by Robert Cantwell, which is its first appearance in book
form. Petersen A5.4. With Canadian writer Timothy Findley's circular
blind stamp which says, "Library of Timothy I. Findley" on the rim, and
"TIF" in the centre. It is also SIGNED on the title page by Findley.
Slightly soiled or rubbed, minor wear on the cover edges, pages browned
a bit. A sound copy. Very good in wraps. $30.00 U.S.

Faulkner, William. SARTORIS. London, Chatto & Windus, 1964. First
printing. The first volume in the reprint series, The Collected Works
of William Faulkner. Dark blue cloth, gilt on cover and spine, blue
topstain. Petersen A5.14. Faint darkening along the top edge of the
cloth boards. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket (by John Woodcock)
with a small closed tear on the top rear of the spine panel. Not
price-clipped. $100.00 U.S.

Hungarian edition. Translated by Goncz Arpad. Tan cloth, stamped in
black on cover and spine. Petersen A5.26. Fine in a near fine dust
jacket with faint rubbing on the rear panel. $75.00 U.S.
