Well, it finally arrived today. The Galaxy Reader of Science Fiction
(New York: Crown Publisher, Inc, 1952) edited by Horace L. Gold -
inscribed and signed by Gold to Groff Conklin, and dated March 1,
1952. I've put together a simple page with some preliminary images at
http://www.charm.net/~edrtjd/GalaxyReader.html

I am hoping that one or both of the pencil inscriptions are in
Conklin's hand, so if anyone has access to examples of Conklin's
writing I'd appreciate the opportunity to make comparisons.

Also, does anyone know if Gold or Conklin used a blindstamp on their
books? Mine shows a circular blindstamp on the ffep, some of which is
vaguely visible in the image of the Gold inscription. I'll have to
experiment with some lighting to try to get a decent image of the
blindstamp.

Regards, Tim
