The Australian fraudster Agorriz a/k/a Melgar is back on ebay again,
this time as Carmelbooks (formerly Parnassum03).
He is now offering a signed books by John Lennon for $20
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13542&item=3566777786
and a signed Pynchon for $200
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13542&item=3567055183

He seems to use a new e-mail address, but I can't get it, as he has
blocked me from his auctions and ebay only gives this information to
people having active transactions.
So if anyone could get the e-mail address it would be much appreciated
by me - and I'm sure - by the Queensland police.

Arne

I just looked at his feedback. What a disaster! I would never buy
anything regardless of price from someone with that feedback.
Interesting that he doesn't include pictures of his books or scans of
the signature. I did request a scan of the Pynchon. Curious to see
what I get.

His current email appears to be joseagorriz.DeleteThis@optusnet.com.au I wrote
him, reuesting a scan of the Pynchon autograph, which he sent. When I
asked for particulars of the COA letter, I recieved no response. I
must thank you for this thread, by the way. I was seriously
considering a bid before I was told about your message exchange here.

I am still waiting for my scan. I want to compare it to a known sample
of Pnychon's signature.
