Just wondering, there are more than two schools of thought, including
beings from another world turning out to be indifferent to our
concerns.

But it's easy to envision them being either helpful and friendly (if
patronizing in their way) vs. territorial and aggressive in wanting
what we have, perhaps even as far as munching on a leg one or two.

Given the point that it's more likely _they_ would contact us before we
et a chance to get at them, based on current technology we enjoy, what
will you think is the likely outcome?

A new Day Dawns and trouble w/ the Prime Directive and 1st Contact or
World Dominion and Subjugation?

Seems more likely they would have absolutely no interest in us.

They might subscribe to the Pak philosophy - exterminate
alien species before they can make a nuisance of themselves.
