I was listening to Franken's new show. G. Gordon Liddy said, "If you stand
up to a bully, he backs down. Everyone knows that."

And I'm thinking, "Well, yeah, unless he happens to have the American
military at his beck and call."

As in the entire world during WWII?

What's wrong with American might? There are certainly a few rough spots but it

Of course, there is nothing wrong with the American military, that was half
the point. And, of course, I wasn't speaking of WWII. Liddy was talking
about and I was thinking about G. W. Bush.
