You can google around for this, but I recall seeing it to be released as
a single box set, as there were only 22(?) episodes, which is what?
about 7 hours or 3-4 discs. I'd bet very low sales, but this is high
margin stuff, so a no-lose deal to release it. Haven't seen those on TV
in a long, long time. Best episode? Yesteryear, where Spock goes back
through the guardian of forever to save his younger self. His pet selot
(sp?) Ei-chiya is wounded and he agrees to have it put down. getting all
misty eyed now, gotta go.....<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Star Trek the Animated series ? |

Your full text spoiled it quite nicely for those who've never seen it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Star Trek the Animated series ? |

I'm really sorry, I should have used (spoiler) in subject when I put
details from the episode. I won't make that mistake again. I got carried
away a bit with a memory that went back a long way.

Can't blame you, Joe. It was *powerful* stuff. D.C. Fontana wrote it,
and nobody on the Filmation end fussed with it much. "Yesteryear" is
every bit as good as the best TOS episodes. Anyone who's never seen it
is in for a treat.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Star Trek the Animated series ? |
