On the planet Ghaldia, ordinary men and women are metamorphosizing
into bizarre creatures with extraordinary strength and limited
intellect. But is this a bizarre evolutionary leap and an unparalleled
catastrophe? The very fabric of Ghaldian society is threatened as fear
and prejudice divide the transformed from their own kin and the
"monsters" are hunted by the ruthless Ghaldian security forces.

Dispatched to cope with the growing crisis, Captain Xavier March,
and the crew of the USS Cheyenne, receive an unexpected visitor from
another reality -- in the form of Dr. Bruce Banner, the scientist who
transforms into the genetically enhanced, impossibly strong,
green-skinned being called the Hulk. Dr. Banner offers his help in
resolving a situation that ia agonizing similar to his own ailment and
the ongoing hunt for him in his own time and space. When the Cheyenne
arrives, three Ferengi starships are already there, hoping to purchase
Ghaldian technology.

But when a hostile Dominian fleet led by a renegade Vorta and a
Founder appear in orbit around Ghaldia to try and abduct the
"monsters" for use as a superpowered force in an attack on the
Federation, even the combined forces of the crew of the USS Cheyenne,
the Ferengi, the Incredible Hulk may be unable to prevent an inferno
of death and destruction.

One of Starfleet's finest crews, their Ferengi allies, and Earth's
mightiest super hero will need all their powers and abilities to save
the Ghaldian people, stop a deadly threat to the Federation, and put
Dr. Bruce Banner in reach of a miraculous Ghaldian discovery which
could cure him of his strange malady and restore the humanity which
was taken from him in the tragic accident in his lab that occured so
long ago. Join the adventure as a Starfleet crew teams up with the
Hulk to save a world threatened with destruction. This sim takes place
during the Dominion War.

Next thing you know someone will wanna team a crew with the X-Men. Oh
wait Friedman has already done that one. This sure makes me glad Peter
David has his limits. Speaking of "Planet X" a quick glance doesn't find
it in the book list at the end of the novels. That should say something
when they won't even acknowledge it.
