Archived from groups: alt>startrek>books (more info?)

Hi all

I have some questions, one about a story I'm thinking of and two about
the rules.

1) Was there ever a "first-time through the wormhole" occasion
established for Kira? I can't honestly remember. If so, which
episode was it? Or has it been established anywhere else?

2) Stories for Strange New Worlds can take place any time during the
Trek timeline, as long as they follow the other restrictions, right?
As I'm sure you can gather from my first question, I'm thinking of a
1st season Kira story.

3) Do we need to provide a "historian's note" saying which episodes
the story takes place in between when we submit the story? Or should
the context spell that out (assuming it's even necessary, of course)?

Thanks!

Dave Roy

If memory serves, "Battle Lines" is Kira's first trip through the wormhole.

Yes.

Let your story do the talking, as needed.

FYI, questions 2 and 3 could probably have been easily answered with a casual
review of past SNW volumes. That's a good thing to do in any case...gives you a
chance to study the market to which you're submitting your story and see the
types of stories that get into the anthologies.

Good luck!
