Those topic bars, I haven't had them for ages, are they still
around?

I notice Cadbury's are now producing something like an Aero,
what's that all about? Nothing can beat a peppermint Aero, except,
of course, the hardy perannial Jaffa Cake.

As a side note I found my copy[1] of "The Brentford Griffin: The
Truth Behind the Tales" by Andrew Collins

Has a nice copy of a poster for "Brentford: The Golden Griffin" by
a Mr Rankin starring Gumley House Convent School for Boys nad
sponsored by the Midland Bank (nice link, there)

Funny old book, seems to be based on a 6 o'clock show report by
Danny Baker, not the best thing to base a book on I'd;ve thought.

what has a hazlenut in every bite? we always used to shout out "squirrel
shit!", of course.
the co-ops' own mini jaffa cakes - a strangely moving experience, more a

fox's classic. with a hot cup of tea. that'll do me. or maybe a jammy
dodger. no, i'll stick with the classic.

Can you sue for mental cruelty if a work colleague sits directly in your
eye-line munching her way through a whole box of jaffa cakes without
offering you any?

Tits like melons...

....but sparrows prefer apples.

Recently on a St John duty a friend commented on a flock of birds
going past, "oh, they're swallows. Or maybe swifts" So I promptly
asked, "well which is it, baby, swifts or swallows?" she wasn't
impressed.
